Working in her home studio, with her two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels establishing regular cuddle breaks, Kristy pursues the alchemy of intention and experimentation. The profound beauty of nature and the teachings of wabi-sabi are her inspiration as she allows intuition and curiosity to be her guides. From her childhood in rural Tennessee to her present life in Coastal California, Kristy has always sought the meditative, magical embrace of nature, finding particular peace in the forest or under the night sky. This fascination can easily be recognized in the subjects, colors, textures, and marks within her paintings. Her hope is to bring a touch of wild beauty and creative joy into others' lives through her art.
